The Beginning of a Journey

One week into ISM and I am already learning about how to market effectively. I've had a realization over the weekend that if I learn something new everyday related to the ISM course, I will have a huge advantage when it comes to my career. It's kind of crazy to think about how my life can change based on the fact that I took a high school course. Anyways, over the week, I've learned about the effects of the internet on marketing strategies and how big of a factor social media is when relating to attracting consumers. My question now is how? How do I utilize the internet to my advantage to attract customers? How do I go about spreading ads on social medias to gain influence? I really want to focus in on this as the top companies right now all use the digital age to their advantage. I felt as if I was really successful this week when coming up with what I want to study next however I did feel kind of rushed to complete some assignments. A little bit of time management lessons never killed anybody so I think I need to better myself in that sense. Overall, I am very happy with my position right now and I hope to find a great mentor that will push me to learn as much as I can about marketing management. I'm excited for what the future holds!
