Marketing analysis. The contrary to developmental marketing. I have found throughout the year that I prefer marketing analytics over marketing development, and this week, I finally decided to dive into the topic. The relatively new concept proved to be pretty simple when researching different types of metrics used and what they look at. These marketing metrics not only provide information on what went good, but also what went bad so you can focus on that concept in the next campaign. The transition of looking at these numbers to apply change to a campaign is definitely something I want to look deeper into. It definitely fascinates me how you can look at a group of stats to see what you need to take action on. Within the upcoming week, I plan on developing my Original Work by starting my program and research a little more about marketing analysis. Last week was a little busy so I want to stay on top of things this week in order to stay ahead of the curve. Hopefully analytics will be something I like more so it will push me to actually do my work this week! Other than that, I plan on reaching out to a few more professionals in order to refine my mentor selection and in the next few weeks, I hope to have a plan on who I want to ask. From then, the mentorship process begins!
