Heating Up!

The ISM process is beginning to take shape as my research develops and as my interviews stack up! So far, the interviews that I have been conducting has been more towards the topic of future development for me personally. I have learned and planned a lot more about my future when compared to my future plan before these interviews. I have learned the importance of internships, connections, and the multiple benefits of having an MBA is. I want to shift my research into the analytical side of marketing in order to develop my original work and shift my focus to develop professionally in that area as well. I still have very little experience with analytical marketing and I am leaning towards that side of marketing instead of the more creative, development side of marketing. Although finance may be geared towards this analytical, math-like mindset, I want to continue to explore opportunities within marketing. I didn't feel very efficient in my work due to the increased workload but I look to stay determined and keep pushing in order to stay on track for the program this week as I explore a new area of marketing. I want to continue to do research interviews and I look forward to exploring possible mentors in the near future as well. For now, I can tell this program is going to be hard, but very beneficial!
