Growth!

The concept of growth is a value of mine that I cherish very much. Growth to me is not only physical, but also mental. In society, people tend to think growth as a concept of victory. But to me, growth can be a combination of wins and losses. Growth has always been a big value of mine, and I really wanted to apply that to my ISM journey. Throughout the first semester, I grew my knowledge of marketing tremendously, but not only did I grow mentally, I grew professionally. The opportunity to talk to professionals in face-to-face interviews was new for me. And this semester, that is something I want to grow upon even more. Social skills have always been a lack of mine, but now, I feel more ready than ever to really develop a professional communication mindset. Throughout the break, I realized this concept of growth is super important, and I will never take growth for granted ever again. Every day provides a new opportunity to be better, so I will try and apply that concept to this work as well. Getting a mentor is just the first step! Along this journey, I will try and document my growth, and eventually, I will achieve my ultimate goal of growing into something special professionally.
