The Power of Social Media Compels You!

A whole new concept has just been introduced to me this week within Marketing: SMM, or social media marketing. This is just one of the endless amount of options marketers can utilize, and it may be just be the best option. Through my research of the topic, which I felt was decently successful for a new concept, I have multiple questions on it. I have learned the benefits of SMM, but my questions now are how do I start doing this? Do businesses create these ads themselves or with another business? These are just a few general questions that I have based on what I have learned this past week as I intend to try and answer these questions with specific examples this week. As of my personal growth, I still feel the need to manage my time better and set my priorities straight. It was a challenge to balance my time between schoolwork and extracurricular activities but I am trying to develop a consistent daily routine each week rather than going with the flow, as I feel I may be more productive following a set schedule. I feel that if I improve and grow with my time management, I will grow my knowledge about marketing more effectively by having more critical research and thinking about my desired topic that week. I hope to continue to develop in the general world of marketing personally before trying to eventually manage over people in the marketing aspect of a company, but until then, I will push to learn as much as I can.
